POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Banner Finance Consultant at Ferrilli, you will collaborate with colleges and universities to address their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) needs, with a particular focus on Ellucian Banner Finance. Your role is vital in ensuring that projects stay within scope and budget, in alignment with our clients' requirements. You will be part of the Professional Services team, reporting to a director, and ultimately, to the VP of Professional Services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate on application design and configuration of client systems, utilizing customization and coding for screen layouts, user interfaces, printed outputs, and system interfaces.
• Write and maintain technical specifications/documentation to detail program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
• Provide technical assistance by addressing inquiries related to errors, problems, or questions concerning ERP and integrated systems.
• Attend internal and external meetings and training sessions.
• Analyze, define, and document requirements for data, workflow, safety processes, standards, hardware, operating system environment, interfaces, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.
• Conduct training for end users or technical support staff on program usage.
• Apply technical, safety, industry, and functional standards to support efforts in enabling value creation for clients.
• Support the analysis and design of business processes.
• Maintain technical and professional currency, sharing knowledge with team members.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Certified CPA with 5 years or more practice is a higher Ed environment.
• Both functional and technical knowledge of ERP Finance preferably Banner 8 or greater- 5 years minimum.
• Working knowledge/experience with functional areas, Purchasing A/P, Fixed Assets, Endowments, Grants , Student and Non Student A/R, Reporting,
• Experience with 3rd party applications such as Emburse, budget planning tools, Jaggaer ( purchasing/contract management software) are a big plus
• Strong team player with effective collaboration skills across cross-functional teams and with clients.
• Essential expertise in configuring and providing customer training for Finance SSB9.
• Proven experience in implementing or reconfiguring Chart of Accounts.
• Willingness to travel as required for client or internal business needs.
• Experience with Accounts Receivable is required.
• Experience in implementing or reconfiguring Chart of Accounts.
• Experience with Online Purchase Orders.
• Ability to generate and analyze Control Reports.
• Proven track record in Monthly document cleanup processes.
• Demonstrated proficiency in FY close processes is a must.
